Who's excited to go to Pullman?

ME!

Later today, Brad and I are making the trek to the beautiful Palouse to watch the Cougs take on Oregon tomorrow. I must be honest, I love my Cougs & I'm excited for the game itself...but clearly this isn't our strongest season of football! ;) So with that said, I am most excited to: bask in the fall eastern washington sun, sip a beverage from the Daily Grind, attend some sort of 'college party' prior to noon with my little brother, eat a Sella's bread twist, see the new CUB, tailgate, dance to 80's at Valhalla (am I too old for that?), have a beer in the Coug, and most likely stop off at Cougar Country on the way out of town Sunday. Is it weird that I have been thinking of the food in Pullman for months?

Good morning Seattle!

My beautiful drive this morning across 520....the sun in the fog was blinding! But, I will take being blinded now & again due to the lack of sun around here usually!

Preppy names!

Haha...this little quiz via friends Kris & Lyndsy (aka Kitty & Babs) made me laugh. I love getting my preppy name! And I'm hoping "Bootsy" will catch on!

Your Preppy Name Is...
Pomeroy Redington Armitage the Sixth
But most people know you as Bootsy

Adrianne & Jason's Wedding!

Saturday we attended Adrianne & Jason's wedding up in Snohomish, WA at Hidden Meadows. Despite the wind & rain, and a power outage during the ceremony...it was an absolutely wonderful wedding! They were so cute, married by candlelight in a dark room surrounded by friends & family. A truly wonderful moment to witness! Adrianne was so adorable, she just kept laughing about it...you could tell she just couldn't WAIT to be married! I am so happy for those two!
The first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Rowley!

Adrianne dancing with her father, Bob...so cute!

...and then off went the shoes!

Happy Friday!

I have kind of been in a blogging funk this week. I think I need inspiration from somewhere, but I'm not sure where to get it? The weather has now changed and it has taken me prisoner with it this week...turning me into to a lazy, un-motivated girl who lays on the couch every night watching tv. I am having a spa evening tonight, so hopefully a massage will rejuvinate myself!

Tomorrow is Adrianne Lindeman's wedding, up at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish. I'm praying the rain will hold off until Sunday & we'll have nice weather tomorrow. I'm also really looking forward to seeing some college girlfriends who I don't see as often as I would like! :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Ruthie's Shower

Today we headed out to Issaquah for Ruthie's bridal shower. It was such a pretty shower on such a hot, perfect September day. We all had a great afternoon sipping Bellini's & celebrating the bride-to be! :)

Cute Ruthie!

All of the girls on our way out, thanks for the group pic (via car trunk & self timer)!

White Party!

Last night we headed downtown to the Columbia Tower Club to attend a party put on by our friend Brie. We had a good time meeting some serious randies & sipping drinks that tasted like creamsicles. Later on we headed to the Seamonster Lounge in Wallingford to take in a crazy band!

Office talk

Co-worker: So what are you up to tonight?

Michelle: Oh, you know...going to a "White Party" downtown!

Co-worker: What's a white party? Like for white people?

Michelle: No, no. White clothing...you know how P-Ditty has a "white party" every summer?

Co-worker: P-Ditty? Is he the one that's been shot a bunch of times?

Michelle: Oh no, that's 50 Cent.

Co-worker: What's 50 cents?

Michelle: (makes awkward face) Ehh, it's just a party... ( slowly walks away)

I'm practically starting to dream in Italian...

Say "Buongiorno" to our adorable hotel in Positano, Italy! We will stay the night here during week one of our trip. I am counting down the days (36) until I am sitting on that balcony...

Lauren Conrad, surrender your hair to me please. I am seriously OBSESSED.
Did she not just chop it off about 6 months ago!? Ugh. Well, someone give me her extensions then...

The competition heats up!

For as long as I can remember, there has been a little slice of eastern Washington heaven called "Yakima" that holds the billboard-broadcasted title of "The Palm Springs of Washington".

Today I got an email at work about Desert Aire (another small town in eastern Washington) referred to as "The Palm Springs of Eastern Washington".

Um, excuse me!? I think it's a well known fact where "The Palm Springs of Washington" is.
Step off Desert Aire!
You'll always be our "Palm Springs", Yakima.
I wonder if Palm Springs has a sign that says "Welcome to Palm Springs, the Yakima of California"?

Walla Walla weekend...

I had such a wonderful & relaxing Labor Day weekend back home! I couldn't help but take advantage of my sunny, 75 degree weather and have a little "country photoshoot" while I was there...
