Off to Pullman!

Later this afternoon we're off to one of our favorite places...the little town of Pullman, WA. Like my hometown of Walla Walla, this other eastern Washington gem of a town will always hold a little piece of my heart as well. It is the place I met most of my friends, had some of the best memories of my life, and spent four amazingly FUN filled years. We may have the worst football team in the Pac-10, er, nation...but that can't keep us away from visiting this year.
I can't wait to tailgate, spend time with my family, feel the heat from a sunny 80 degree fall weekend, hear the fight song, eat a breadtwist at Sellas, etc etc. Too many things to list. Though it takes 5 hours and is sort of a miserable drive...it's totally worth it. See you soon, Palouse!

4 years...

Four years ago today Brad and I were set up in a super awkward meeting at Qwest Field for the WSU football game in Seattle. So thank you to my fabulous friend Coffey for playing matchmaker.

We went on our senior trip to Mazatlan during the same week.

We even lived about 50 feet away from eachother all throughout college...but somehow never met.

I'm sure happy that we finally did :)

Happy Anniversary! Looking forward to date night tonight!

We bonded over our love for the Cougs, initially.
Here we are in Pullman in 2008...no idea what he said to warrant the look I'm giving.

And here is a pic from 9.16.06, four years ago today. Brad is probably somewhere in the background, pounding a Busch Light, trying to think of a good way to come over and say hi :)

I want to go to here...

I'm kind of obsessed with this lovely fall scene. I would like to walk through here...so pretty. Welcome fall...leaves, please start changing asap. I'm ready now :)

p.s. I was channeling my inner Liz Lemon in my title for this post, not an error ;)

Well it's been very quiet here on the homefront...you can tell fall is sneaking in and leaving us confused as to why Starbucks was offering pumpkin spiced lattes at the eng of August (I'm not complaining, just an observation), and why I have been wearing boots & sweaters all week and it's just days past Labor Day. Well, apparently summer came and went, what felt like overnight. Literally.

So like my previous post of the fall tv guide, I decided I want to do a fall movie post. I only saw one movie this whole summer, sad! And what's really sad is it was a terrible movie: Charlie St. Cloud. I basically paid $10 to stare at Zac Efron for an hour and a half, which I suppose could have been worse. Okay have you not seen 17 Again!? I hate to admit it, but he's kind of adorable. Anyway, I keep seeing previews for movies coming out this fall and there are so many I want to see! I think there are going to be a lot of movie nights in our future...

Here are my top 5, in order of release date:

9/3 Going the Distance

10/8 Life as we Know it
