Weekend Rewind

Such a wonderful, relaxing weekend! Here's how it all went down...

So...I got a call from Zach Gilford (aka Matt Saracen of Friday Night Lights) while I was hanging at home watching a movie on Friday night. My fabulous friend Lisa Spry was in a wedding down in Puyallup this past weekend with Zach's girlfriend, and knowing how big of a fan I am, she had him call me! He was super nice and very sweet...he thanked me for being a fan of the show, I gushed for a few moments and then let him go because I'm sure that might have been a very awkward call for him to make! All in all, a great Friday night ;)

Saturday we headed down to Kent for The Rinabarger's Housewarming party. Please note Jamie's AMAZING Raspberry Lemonade cupcakes. TDF!!!

On Sunday, Courtney and I walked these two cuties: Max & his half brother Jake (Auntie's dog) around the neighborhood, and then went by ourselves on a longer walk at Greenlake.

We grabbed lunch up on Capital Hill, did a little thrifting and then went to the Farmer's Market. We got there right as they were closing up shop, so they gave us these huge bouquets of dahalias for $5! And then as we were paying and leaving, they gave us each two more bouquets for free! I didn't have enough vases at home so I had to put them in an old wine bottle and lemonade bottle from my recycling (slightly ghetto, I need to steal vases from my work today). And yes, I also desperately need to hang that picture, as it has been propped against the wall for months...if you are handy and like to hang things, let me know...I need help! :)

Such a wonderful, relaxing summer weekend...I know I just posted that I was getting excited for fall, but I am still REALLY loving these lazy summer weekends!!!

I won't lie...I'm a little excited for fall

I know many of my blogging friends have been doing "Looking foward to Fall" posts, and I have to agree, I'm definitely a little bit excited! Along with the many perks of fall's arrival next month: the changing leaves, wearing scarves, boots, cozy sweaters, sunny crisp fall air, football games, comfort foods like mac & cheese and yummy soups, pumpkin spiced lattes...well, you get it.

But there's just one last thing that I always get a little bit excited for come September: Fall TV premieres! If anyone else has been watching even a slight bit of summer tv they know what I mean...it's terrible! Luckily I have been out and about so much this summer I haven't had to suffer through the miserable shows that aired all summer.

So to get you all geared up for your favorite returning (or maybe new) tv shows this fall, I have found the ultimate TV guide to let you know when your shows will be starting. Obviously I do not watch all of these shows, but hey...someone might, so here you go. I have bolded what I plan to be watching this season. Oops, there are A LOT! Thank goodness for DVR, right? Enjoy!

Brie & Mass' wedding!

Saturday I attended the wedding of Brie and Mass and what a FUN night it was! Truly such a beautiful & emotional ceremony, followed by a gorgeous wedding reception. It was held at the Mountain Springs Lodge in Plain, WA which was such an incredible place for a wedding. Minus the swarm of bees everywhere (yes a bee flew up my dress and stung my back) and Mass getting stung on his wedding ring finger, other than that it was a perfect evening.
