Homeward Bound...

Wine tasting, family time, and sunny days ahead...looks like my weekend is shaping up quite nicely! Tomorrow afternoon I am heading over to cute Walla Walla to see my family and participate in my favorite springtime activity "Spring Release". I love checking out the new wineries and just enjoying a relaxing weekend at home. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I sure do, apparently! Enough to go to 2 games over a 4 day period :) On Saturday I hit up the M's game with my mom, brothers, and soon to be sister-in-law. Tuesday night I went to the game with Court, Nick & AJ. Loving all the Sodo Mojo recently, the games have been so fun! I'm currently 1-1 this season.

Easter Sunday

I spent most of the afternoon yesterday watching Baby Finley find Easter eggs hidden around the house since it was the rainiest day EVER and we couldn't be outside. Never got old watching her run into the living room screaming, laughing and waving her egg around. SO cute.

And as fast as it came...it went.

Loved our four day preview of Spring...I hear the rain is coming back tomorrow, but I did enjoy our quick little taste of it while it lasted. I got to wear flip flops, and it's only April...so I'm happy.

It's a sad day to be a Cougar...

I'm sure everyone else feels the same way...let down.

Yesterday felt kind of like when Coach Taylor took the TMU job on Friday Night Lights, but way worse. This was actually real life and not just my favorite hot coach on tv. Unfortunately now all Tony Bennett will be to me is just a hot coach on tv. I'm really disappointed, I thought Coach Bennett was different. He was the epitome of WSU to me and I loved that about him. Coach Taylor came back to Dillon HS when he realized his mistake...but I don't think TB will be back, and that makes me sad. And, as Kris pointed out, our rumored possible coach looks like Kenneth from 30Rock. What am I going to do with that??? :(

Weekend in San Francisco!

This weekend Courtney and I visited Crystal in SF for her birthday (aka her 29 Run). What a fun and crazy day we had on Saturday! The day included lots of wine, too many pieces of cheese from "The Real Crowd Cheeser" tray, me being kind of a loser and highlighting the wins on my bracket in a bar, an absurd love serenade to the birthday girl by Shiloh Moon, sake, getting stuck talking to the 80's looking South Dakotan (is that a word?) business man, a funny cab ride back to Crystal's and a ridiculous amount of laughing about it all. Soooo much fun with Crystal and all her friends from the city! What a fun birthday weekend we had!

Weekend Getaway

This weekend Courtney and I are heading down to San Francisco to stay with our fabulous friend Crystal and celebrate her birthday!

We'll hang out in the city for a bit...

And then hop in the limo & head to Napa Saturday morning for a little wine tasting...

I need a breather. Looking forward to a weekend of talking, laughing, eating, drinking and being with my girls. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
