Love...
...my sweet fiancé. I arrived to work & found sitting on my desk: a little mini rose bush, a card and the Toms I've had my eye on. Less than 9 months to go, cannot WAIT to be married to him! :)

Zihuatanejo trip!
Finally I am getting around to blogging our trip from January. We had such an incredible week down there! It was so relaxing and fun, and we found our wedding destination...so I'd say it was a pretty successful vacation :) So in no particular order, here are some shots from the trip...

My favorite tree was always lit up as we walked up the pathway to the hotel at night
Had a hard time putting my book down!

It's already February??? Where did the last month go? I have been so busy with work/wedding planning/random activities that I still haven't even blogged photos from our trip to Mexico yet! It's on the list...I will try and get those pics up in the next week.
In other news I had my first wedding nightmare last night :( It had absolutely nothing to do with actually getting married, but almost made me laugh when I woke up & realized what went wrong. So what was the problem? Oh, none of my bridesmaids showed up to the ceremony! Ha! Something I am definitely NOT worried about, so I found it funny. I actually left Brad at the altar in the middle of his vows so I could go look for the girls & try to round them up for the ceremony. So you hear that bridesmaids? DON'T be late! :)
What I SHOULD be having nightmares about is the size of our venue! :( I didn't think limited space & a small maximum number of people would be difficult for a destination wedding but it is...ugh.

NYE
For New Years this year, Brad and I headed to Whidbey Island to celebrate with our good friends The Kochers and The Juhls. Kim's dad's house was the perfect place to ring in the new year. A fantastic view of the sound, Mount Rainier and even downtown Seattle! We had such a relaxing weekend filled with baby snuggling, great wine, lots of amazing food, sunny & cold walks, many laughs, movies, and a heated match of 90s Trivial Pursuit.
Btw, we are officially 30. NYE the first year I was dating Brad was spent at a house in Eastlake resembling a fraternity, entirely WAY too much booze, a sketchy hotel room, followed by a very hungover kick off to 2007 :( This year I woke up feeling great in a beautiful home at 8am, surrounded by babies, dogs, toys and my best friends. I must say, I'll take 30 :)
